Linda Mashinini is a Law graduate whose roots have taken grip to the world of communications. After graduating from the University of Swaziland in 2006, she ventured into teaching at First Steps, a private school in Swaziland where she nurtured the grade two classes, imparting both academic and sport activities, acquiring the skill of patience.
11 years ago in February 2007, she took her own first step into the corporate world, where she joined a Communications agency called Kagiso TV & Communications. This is where she grew gradually to serve in the project management team within the Stakeholder relations and Activations department. It is in this department where stemmed her passion for community development and consumer education through various mediums.
In 2010, Linda joined the amazing Kumoja Communications team! Where, as Stakeholder Relations Manager, continued to touch many lives through health and financial literacy educational campaigns in both the public and private sector. These campaigns were initiated by clients that include: DBSA (HIV/Aids education), FNB & Standard Bank (Financial literacy), and Eskom (Public safety education). Different campaigns, one goal and which is: to conduct meaningful community engagements that informs and educates South Africans, particularly in the lower LSMs.
In time, Linda grew to the PR and Media Manager role, handling an array of media houses in outdoor, radio, TV, Social Media and print. Linda has successfully forged relationships in PR for 5 years.
